It is not common for that to happen, but it can. See the link I've provided.
However, the problem with your theory of not being pregnant is that everytime you have unprotected sex you run the risk of becoming pregnant, so even if you think you are not, you may be.
Get a pregnancy test; if you are not pregnant now then start taking birth control pills, and/or a condom, or better still, just don't have sex until you are married. The diseases that you can catch are no joke, and being a parent at 16 is no fun. I should know, I was.

My mother had the exact same situation she had her period, then it came and went several times, with in between periods of up to 6-8 months. She went to the Dr. he told her she had something I can't remember what she said it was, but he told her she'd probably never be able to conceive, and she didn't until she was 25y. Which was me, then 2 More kids 6y & 13 y. younger then me. Not bad for someone who wasn't supposed to have any kids. I would suggest talk with your parents and tell them your concerns. Then see a Dr. it is possible that your period just hasn't had the time to regulate it self yet. sometime Dr.'s put you on oral birth control to regulate it. Every single person is different, it wouldn't hurt to just have yourself checked out.
I see also that your just 15y and sure you shouldn't be having sex but if your are you need to protect your self, just because your not having your period regularly doesn't mean that you can't get pregnant, my birth prove that.

It could be a diet change. I know one lady who became vegan and her period stopped for 4 years. There are some vitamins that can help with fertility, I think. Maybe you should talk to a doctor or at least the school nurse if you're really worried.

First of all, you are way too young to be having sex. Your period will return. If you are really worried, go to the doctor and get checked. And plz, don't have sex. Nothing good comes of it. Sex is for married adults, which you are not. You will regret it later. Don't let guys use you.

It's normal for them to be irregular but that does seem like a pretty long time... if it is worrying you that much - go see a doc

I think the best thing to do is talk to a doctor or any other health professional about it, so they can reassure you. Good luck.

Be thankful! Periods suck....however if you are really concerned you need to go to the gynecologist...you need to go anyway since you are sexually active....which by the way you are WAY TO YOUNG to be sexually active!
