Not enough spin? that usually gives some control. a lot of times it goes slow because the player tenses up too much to try to hit the ball hard. just relax and hit with a lot of topspin. the vibration is from the force of the ball on the racket; to lessen it, get a shock absorber.

Hitting the ball hard does NOT make the ball go flying over the fence. The pros hit very hard and the ball goes where they aim. The key is controlling the racquet strings or face. If the racquet strings are tilted open the ball will go up. If you swing fast and have the strings tilted too much the ball will go up but with so much spin it will travel very slow.

Perhaps, you are hitting too hard, and you have no control, because your question makes no sense. All the pro's out there hit hard, but it usually goes in.. does it not? you must be a very poor player :] I'm not good with physics, so I won't be able to explain why it vibrates, but you have a damper and grip for a reason, same reason why you have rubber handles for a lot of stuff, so it absorbs the shock. take bicycles for example.

Well if you hit it hard, it's going to go flying out if it's not under control. And it will vibrate if you hit it but but it goes slow because you didn't hit the ball on the core of the racket.

you didn't follow through after hitting the ball, that's the problem. a good technique and footwork is crucial for executing a good backhand or forehand. generate more top spin to prevent the ball from going out. once you've mastered the basic technique, you can try changing grip which helps to generate more top spin. that will also improve the chances of getting the ball in.

Energy is transferred from your body (kinetic) into the ball, and makes the molecules agitate.
