Frawenburg in Warmia.
Nicolaus Copernicus was born in 1473 in the city of (as then spelled) Thorun in Royal Prussia. He was educated in Cracow, Bologna and Padua, and spent most of his working life in the town (as then spelled) Frawenburg in Warmia, where he died in 1543.
