I know this an opinion.
I'm just baffled...by some college students.
I saw a girl today who was wearing a pink ribbon tied in a bow around her blond ponytail. she had to be at least 18.
not to mention her pink nikes and matching pink jacket. very preppy. she screamed "virgin".
Nonetheless....what do you think?

I think we should all stop making people feel bad for who they are. If this girl wanted to wear a ribbon in her hair, how is it bothering you any? What if someone right now was asking a similar question about you and your shoes you wore today? You would feel bad, right? What ever happened to compassion and empathy?

I think a lot of it depends on the area you live in. More urban girls are less likely to wear a ribbon after grade school but I live in a more rural area and I have seen many older girls with ribbons in their hair. personally I think it's less fashionable after like 2nd grade maybe. I have 3 girls and my 6 year old is the only one that will wear a ribbon now.

Don't get the words "girls" and "females" confused. Women are grown up girls and even Grand mothers still wear ribbons in Their hair. I as far as I know there is no actual legal age limit on the wearing of hair ribbons (albeit not for long if the fashion police get to hear about it).

well it depends what kind of ribbon and how it is used..
if it is a ribbon on two ponytails or braids...then that should be stopped at like age 6...
but just a ribbon on 1 ponytail isn't bad...its turned fashionable

I still wear ribbons in my hair sometimes and I'm 26. I don't wear pink ones but I wear them when I'm feeling fun.

i think a girl will stop wearing ribbons on her head at the age of 14.

Other than toddlers -- I don't think anyone should EVER wear ribbons in their hair!! unless its like, a headband made out of ribbon.. but seriously... wow. no ribbons.
