The thing is that I told my boyfriend to get out of my mother's department in which we are living. He don’t want to leave and he is frightening me that if he leaves he is going to take the baby with him. I told him that if he does that I was going to take him to jail because without my permission he is not allowed to take the baby nowhere. What are my rights?? How can I force him to leave me alone? He wants to be with me against my will.

In a court of law the baby is yours unless youre ruled unfit to have custody. Now you can get a "order to vacate premises" to get him out of the apartment and get a protective restraining order against him for your own protection and in case the police are needed. Dont be afraid to use the police if you feel threatened. Get the orders as soon as possible before this gets out of hand. This will probably end up in court as a custody battle but you have nothing to worry about that I can see. He will probably be ordered to pay support and will be probably be awarded state mandated visitation rights which you can request be supervised visits if you fear the worst for the baby or that he may run once he gets the baby. The law is on your side so use it. Contact your local legal aid assoc. for free advice and contact the local womans help groups if necessary. Good luck

Yep that's it.The lowest form of abuse control .I should know ..
Been there ...
At the time that was the bottom line..And if your "husband's family
is anything like him..They will cause all kinds of trouble.I think
he's all bluff..Unless there's someone or something else
that want's to control you and take advantage of this "problematic
situation...No he cannot."But in reality he can if you cannot defend yourself. All these laws ect are great"sound great" But "
They are not "reality" Just give thanks "He's on "your" turf and
you don't live with his mother..Noone can just take your baby
there are laws..."Call the police"

If you are not married then you have all rights until he goes to court and distingushes his (thats how it is in ga) Call the cops and have him removed................Or let him stay and file child support that way even though hes staying with you he is still forced to pay child support............and if he doesn't pay atleast you know where he is when its time for him to go to jail! Baby daddys are nothing more then cry babies who think that because they can make a baby they make the laws..............atleast thats how it is in my house!

The law everywhere is that you dont have to take this kind of bs from a man. If you feel that you are in danger in anyway you need to get help. Call the police or tell someone who you trust that you need help. You need to protect yourself, and more importantly - you need to protect your child from harm
