Okay, I lost my cellphone in my house a couple weeks ago and I still can't find it. It's off so I can't call it to listen where it is. How can I find it?

P.S. I think my dad put it somewhere and forgot where he does that a lot.

Some phones can supposedly be turned on remotely by the service provider, but if it's been lost for weeks it probably doesn't have any battery left so... You could try retracing your steps (or your dad's steps) on the day you lost it... or maybe hypnosis...

If it's off, it's off. You'll have to look for it like you would anything else that doesn't ring. Like a book or keys. There is no "magic" way of turning it on.
