The first month he misses a payment, file a Motion for Contempt and take him back to court. The next time he misses a payment do it again--and gain and again if you have too--this is the only way to let the Judge your ex is following the Court's order---your ex might end up in jail after being held in contempt a few times.

Let your ex know you are not messing around---and---as a bonus, if you do have to go back to court make sure you ask for attorney's fees for your lawyer--he should have to pay that too since he is the reason you had to go back to court to begin with.

that is what the court is far to enforce the alimony orders. if the alimony is not paid, file in court, they can put the person in jail for not paying alimony and or child support. when they get out on bond, they Will be more than happy to catch up and pay on time next time, or they can leave the country. You might want to consider working two jobs, just in case. Just because a court orders it, there is no guarantee that the check will be in the mail.

Get your atty. to have the judge have your alimony check sent to the courthouse and they will send to you. If he doesn't pay then they after him, that is the way some women get their child support sent to the courts. Anytime that judge grant alimony's he means business and you will receive that through the courts . If you don't receive it call the court and they will be sure he follows through. or put his a** in jail.
You was winner congratulation on your great win.

Have all his job information and stay in contact so you can go back to court if he starts missing his payments.
