or do you call a repair man...I do most of it here, like a leak in the sink or repairing the dryer...

Wow, I must say I'm impressed. A dream woman and Home repair service all wrapped into one?
I'm usually "Mr Fix-it", but if it's something that's going to take along time... I've reluctantly learned to pay someone else to do it. There comes a point where you gotta decide what your time is worth and whether it's worth the aggravation.

I found out a long time ago that I could do most minor repairs around the house with my housewife tool kit of a hammer, pair of pliers, and a set of screwdrivers before a man could get to the hardware store to get some specific tool he thought was needed for the job. The major repairs were done by professionals-plumber,electrician, or carpenter as needed.

I actually do a lot around my house being a wife is hard work you know.. but what i cant seem to do my husband can. He can do almost anything hes one of those men who is a handyman in the sense of the word! I try to avoid repairmen bc they can get VERY expensive. Most people could avoid paying a repairman if theyd just ask around their friends and family bc there are many "jacks of all trades" out there that will come over and help ya out!

I do some things, if I'm interested in it. I put a ceiling fan in every room of my house, even the laundry room...lol.
I remodeled my kitchen and put new flooring in my laundry room. My problems lately have been too large
for me to handle. Rusted water heater.(AFTER the new floor...#$#%%$##!!!) Busted air conditioner. Car problems. Friends that know things, and the ex-husband come in handy, although when I refinanced my house,
I intentionally got extra money to do some things around the house. So, I took some time off work, and watched three very different, very sexy men wearing no shirts toil for hours trying to meet my every need. Hooyeah...lol...!!
