Jada Pinkett Smith is well and alive. She and Will Smith will be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary this year.

She's recently been out & about on the red carpet w/ her husband Will Smith & their son Jaden Smith who is 8 years old.
They are in that new movie "The Pursuit of Happyness".
Jada is also currently involved as the vocalist in a Alternative metal band called Wicked Wisdom, which released a self-titled debut album on February 21, 2006. The band also toured Ozzfest in the summer of 2005 as part of the second stage lineup.

Of course she is alive!! If you see Will Smiths movie Pursuit of Happyness there is a preview for her new movie... Reign over me.. with Adam Sandler... it looks really cute actually. But she is alive and fabulous!
