The 1919 Buffalo (Bison) nickel had a mintage of 60,868,000. So it is not rare or even scarce except in high mint state grades. Look at the reverse below the words five cents to see if it has a mint mark. If there is a D or S there then it is worth more money. The 1919 no mint mark, is worth $1.25 in grade good, up to around $5.00 in grade very fine. This is about what a dealer would pay.
