No. You have to communicate honestly with yourself in order to communicate honestly with another. With communication comes the trust and respect. Hints are just a lame @ss excuse for chicks to get ticked off when you don't read their minds.

Well judging by the numerous questions like these I see and refuse to answer everyday:

"Does she like me? She keeps staring.. blah blah.."
"Does he really like me or is he just being nice?"
"He keeps winking at me and sends me flowers all the time.. does he really like or is he just being friendly"
"She looks at me all the time and says hi when i walk by.. does she really dig me? or is she teasing?"

I would have to say leave the hints to the professionals, because some people just DON'T GET IT now a days.

So in all reality, yes.. hints work..

it just depends on who is smart enough to pick them up :)

No, it's stupid. People sit on their hands waiting for the other one to bust a move and nothing ever happens because everyone wants to look "cool".

some people can take hints. others wouldnt if u hit them over the head with it ( me right there XD) maybe it better not to be subtle?
