I think we will in due time. The problem is that the area is in turmoil. If we pull out too soon, it wil be a lawless land runned by terrorists...and then Iran and Syria would help fuel that relationship...which means that you would then have another country full of hatred for us, and a safe haven for terrorists. That is what we are trying to avoid. I agree it's a huge mess though.

As long as we remain a diplomatic country that's major focus is on public relations especially between countries we will continue to try to fix every problem outside of our own country and not focus on our own problems within our country.
