Lord and Lady Capulet, of course, (Juliet's parents) and Friar Laurence, who married them and tried to hide them, and also the dude who sold Romeo the poison which killed him, which made Juliet kill herself.

you could make a case for almost every adult character i would say!
Juliets father-he wants her to marry Paris which juliet does not want so he threatens to disown her forcing her to take drastic action.
Juliets mother- the least effective adult i would say as she only agrees with her husbands wishes to keep the peace. her main crime is not listening to or sticking up for her daughter maybe.
friar lawrence-he aids the lovelorn pair by secretly marrying them and by helping romeo when he is banished.
The prince- he banished romeo from verona so he starts the whole confusion off with the pair being separated and the letter not geting to romeo is a massive factor and this would never had happened if the prince had not banished him.
the nuse-she allows the romance to blossom and actively encourages it by passing on messages for the pair and being juliets confidante instead of warning her that no good will come of it and that her parents will go mad!
the apothecary-he sold the poison to romeo. where were his morals?
hope something here helps!!!

Juliet and Romeo's parents and their attitude towards each other. Lord Capulet was forcing Juliet to marry Paris when she was already secretly married to Romeo.
Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo, he refused and so Mercutio fought him and died causing Romeo to fly into a rage and kill Tybalt who was Juliet's favourite cousin therefore he was banished from Verona and did not hear the truth about Juliet's death from friar Laurence quick enough to understand it

We 'ad to do all the writin' an' workings out ourselves an' still 'ave time for a game of football in the park after our tea. No exercise these days. The youth of t'day are too busy playin' with their Paystations an' Mintendoes an' the like.....
