hi, i just arrived here half a year ago.. its a nice city... but i came from a country that's crowded and stuff.. so im not really sure of things to do here(outside of course). well if im going out with this friend(girl), where are some interesting places we can go to? thanks for introducing

Lynn Valley Canyon and Suspension Bridge ... i's in North Vancouver, and free ... hiking trails, a cool, high suspension bridge, cafe, gift shop, interpretation center.

Stanley Park, take a walk around the seawall (you might check the website to see if it's all reopened yet since the storm damage). There is the horse-drawn trolley car, the Vancouver Aquarium, Gardens (in the spring/summer), Beaches, a swimming pool in summer, a Tea House, and more.

Granville Island, an artsy area with lots of little shops and cafe's as well as the Model Ship and Model Train Museums.

Ambleside Park ... located In West Van, just west of Park Royal Shopping Mall. It has a dog park, great beaches, and there is a hiking/jogging path that goes along the shore in West Van.

Day trips: Go to Grouse Mountain, Storyeum, Capilano Suspension Bridge

Full day or longer: Drive up to Whistler, take ferry to Victoria, go to Tofino
