i have lost interest in softball...i have been paying now for 10 years....and my dad is all about us playing softball and i wanna quit....but he is the type of dad that will corner you into playing..and if you dont he will like make you feel badd fo not playing..and my uncle coaches varsity and he will be very mad....what do i do?

If I were you I would have a talk with my dad. Tell him that the sport doesn't make you happy anymore and he should come to realize that the whole point of playing a sport is to have fun. If you are misreable then there is no reason to try. As for your uncle you should say the same thing, because he wouldn't want a player that didn't want to play or it would ruin the chemistry of the team.

It's sad to see one lose interest in the game of softball. You have played it for quite awhile. I'm sure you are burned out, and no longer have the desire to play. For you to continue to play when the love is no longer there wouldn't be wise. Not only will your performance suffer, you will have a negative effect on your team mates.
Talk to dad and just explain that you don't enjoy it anymore. He won't like it I'm sure, but he will have to abide by your decision. He will eventually get over it. As for the uncle, he doesn't want a player who doesn't love the game! Talk to both, it will be allright.

well ive been playing softball for 10 years to.. im 14 now.. i mean if you really dont want to do it then you just got to tell your dad... i play on travle teams and my parents would support any decsision i make... some times it gets boaring but if you really dont want to do it anymore just tell your dad thats all you can do! and he cant force you to do what you dont want... and if you do quit and there mad.. they will get over it... but it can get you into good collages if your really good... alot of people loose intrest after 10 years.. somedays i wake up and say lets go play softball but other days im like ugh no way! so it really depends.. maybe when the season starts in a few weeks you will change your mind.. do what you want im sure they will support your desision.. every week i go to batting pratice and then pitching and then my travle practice so its alot just tell them what you really feel im sure it will be fine or see what happens when the season starts good luck!!

well if u dont like it get out of it because if u do it for your dad who wont have fun and if u dont have fun you will be bored
