The difference is Pelosi was born rich, Feinstein & Boxer married rich husbands
It just shows that the Democratic Party is made up of two groups: those so wealthy that they don't even notice any tax increase and those so poor that they don't pay any taxes in the first place so when taxes are raised they don't notice it either.

Of the top 50 richest members of congress, 39 are Republicans.
No one on the hill is wondering where their next meal is coming from.
Pelosi is no richer than Bill Frist was.
Cheney had $17 million in oil company dollars in his pocket when he came up with the administration's energy policy, then the administration fought all the way to the USSC to stop the public from seeing how the decisions were made.

Yes and your point is? At least in most cases they are not among the folks stealing Billions in Iraq like the VP. John Kerry's wife has more, but she inherited it from a Republican.
It is not the money that counts but how they got it and what they do with it. I you own as string of hospitals and put a multibillion dollar bill that mostly just helps your business, then you are corrupt. Oh yeah that was Republican Bill Frist, the cat killer.

I am going to withhold my opinions on the people listed and attack your fundamental problem with wealth.
1) whats wrong with wealth, is that not what most people strive to achieve? The pursuit of happiness?
2) wealth does not = corruption
And the comment about taxing the rich silly... good one ;)

Probably not as wealthy as George W. Bush, but did you have a point? Perhaps you could find a politician that's not wealthy, that should be amusing.
