Nope, it's not dangerous to them. Here's a link to a little more info on that rumor...

I've been using Swiffer Wet Jet products for about a year and no harm has come to my pets because of it. If it was dangerous, there would be news stories popping up all over about it.

I have used the swiffer wet cleaner on my floor for 8 years and have had a small dog walking and licking that same floor for 6 years and it hasnt hurt her at all. Now, I'm sure if I left the chemicals out for her to play in, it might hurt her. My cat seems doesnt seem to be bothered by it either.

No there is nothing in it that is going to hurt your cat if your using it to clean. I doubt it would be a good idea to let that be their only source of water...This was such a pain in the butt when that email came out a few years ago I worked for a vet then we got so many calls that we started handing out the MSDS sheet from Proctor and Gamble to assure people that they are safe cleaning products.

I would not take a chance on it. I called clorox when it came out to make sure there was not anything in it that would hurt my dog. It was suppose to bwe something in it that is in antifreeze. Just switch to clorox don't risk your pets life

there have been cats in my area that have died due to the harmful ingrediants. just let it dry before they walk on the floor so they don't lick their paws. did you know that margarine is 1 component away from being anti-freeze?

I don't know about that, but it didn't work that well for me. Small dogs are more delicate.
