They're usually super white and usually from luxury vehicles and the lowbeam lights are really really bright, they almost look like High Beams...I feel like Flashing them, but I know from the color of them they're low beam lights. what do you think?

You can thank Sylvania for them. I absolutely HATE them too! If it were up to me whatever peabrain thought that was a good idea should have their eyelids stapled open and have to stare into those lights for eternity!

A properly aligned Xenon headlight shouldn't necessarily dazzle as it should point downwards and right itself if on crests of hills. They also provide a safety advantage to the driver.... BUT.... One of the main drawbacks of the 4x4 design is the higher headlights. And many MOT places may not spot the misaligment of bulbs. And the Kevs who try to achieve the Lexarse lights look often get the cheap high intensity halogen bulbs with a blue tint as they are "just as good as Xenons", but are in reality a dazzle-fest. Therefore - Xenons = one thumb down from me.

That's the reason (at least a contributory one) as to why night driving is not really as safe as you would like it to be. They are a nuisance especially in city driving where lamppost lights provide adequate street lighting , so they are not an absolute necessity. They should be regulated if not outright banned. I agree with the two ladies upstairs, I really like the one on stapling the eyelids.....

I get very irritated - it'd be nice to have a giant mirror to reflect the light right back at them and see how they feel....those lights are also on many SUVs

I have the urge to do the same thing but I'd rather not incite road rage and stay safe, so I'd say ignore them. Just wear sunglasses at night. ;-)

They really hurt to look at them. So, don't look at them if you can help it. They're so white, it's hard not to notice them. We're just jealous that we can't see as well as they can. LOL
