Are there any Mercados (Mexican open air markets) in the Quintana Roo area...especially in Playa Del Carmen???

I'M GERMAN LIVING IN PLAYA SO PLEASE EXCUSE MY ENGLISH.IN CANCUN DOWN TOWN (ABOUT 40 MILES NORTH OF PLAYA) ARE PLENTY OF OPEN AIR MARKETS (PLAZA 28 IS THE BIGGEST ONE).HERE IN PLAYA YOU WILL NOT FIND SUCH THING.WE DO HAVE AN OPEN AIR SHOPPING CENTER AT THE FERRY PIER....BUT THAT'S NOTHING LIKE A MEXICAN MARKET.IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION ABOUT PLAYA GO TO:

Everywhere in Mexico there are mercados but i don´t know exactly in that area you could do some research in google mexico, write this: mercados en playa del carmen in http://www.google.com.mx, if you have trouble about translating something write it here.
