There is a 1957 and 1957 series A or B. The 1957 sells for around $3.00 in Very Fine condition. You would get less of course from a dealer. The star note ( star instead of one of the letters in the serial number) sell for around $6.00 in Very Fine.

if its crisp uncirculated-- about 5 to 7 bucks-- otherwise just a dollar-- the silver certificates are worth more then face value-- but that was long before 1957-- why not keep it for another 50 years?? perhaps then it will be worth alot more

Did you put it in a savings bong(bank account) and never tampered with it? If not, it is still worth a 1 dollar bill. trust me. If not, it is worthless but I higly doubt that
