The mood in the park is nice, however I prefer leaving the park and going to CityWalk, a great place for nightlife and fun.
My favorite ride at Universal Studios Hollywood has to be Jurrasic Park. Great for the whole family and one of my favortites at any park. Check it out. Have a good time.

I've been to Universal in Orlando. The mood at night is a lot of fun (especially if you go during Halloween Horror Nights).
My favorite rides are the Fire & Ice dragons roller coasters in Islands of Adventure, and the Back to the Future ride in the regular park.

the mood at night is amazing. when you are on the boardwalk, everything is lit up and they play all different types of music. there are plenty of delicious restaurants to go to. the night life is great.
as for rides, i liked Dueling Dragons and the Incredible Hulk in Islands of Adventure. In Universal, the rides there are more for adults, not extreme rides. I do like the Shrek 3-D movie towards the entrance. I do not recommend the Nicktoons ride with Jimmy Neutron for people with bad backs because it will jolt you around. I had back pain for days after riding that ride. I would recommend going on the classic universal rides such as Jaws and Back to the Future. they are simple but fun rides. If you are a person who likes spinning around, the the Men in Black ride would be perfect. Have fun on vacation!

I've only been to Universal Studios in Hollywood my favorite ride is Jurassic park but the Terminator Show(sit down show not a ride) is fantastic! It has the best 3D effects I've ever experienced. The night time atmosphere is good. The only park I've ever been to that has full service bars. Marinland in San Diego has a beer Garden the the Bush parks had them as well. But at Universal you can have a mixed drink.

Universal is a really great park. My fav rides are Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, and The Mummy Ride. The Mummy is a dark roller coaster that goes forward then backward. No loops. Really Awesome!!!!!!

yes i have and sadly i had to leave right before nightfall but i heard the citywalk is great at night. My fave rides were probably the hulk and i heard Spiderman 3-d was great, but these are in Islands of Adventure.
