No , not all families live the way you describe it. American's are proud of the families, they have. They work hard to provide and care a lot about the children, pets and home. What you have described is not true in most households. I suppose you find some like that, but the numbers are low. I imagine, you can find families, like what you describe, all over the world. No this is not the average home in America. Quite the opposite.

Most of it sounds like the average IMMIGRANT-"american"? home. Not to insult. It takes balls to live that life and I know most of them make it. My parents did. Now look at their kids: educated, each with his own room, and I even snagged a scholarship! :) Besides: women in general (no matter where) tend to be fat (except african women but let's not go there) Men in general like to read the newspaper, women nag about equality so they have jobs now, and ALL little kids never want to go in bed.

I didn't know that America had a family. Where do they live? Who are they. Why are they potentially out of control?

Its a lot better than sleeping in a shanty town where we drink water from the same place where we dump our refuse.
