Grundy has always been sort of a poor man’s Hulk (though he predates the Hulk.) He is sort of a naturally-occurring Bizarro, in that the is not truly alive. This might seem to cause Wolvie some problems—how do you kill that which is not alive…?
The same way you kill everything else, of course!
Logan would go ape on Grundy, and leave a bumch of little Grundy-cutlets down the street. Mm-mm, I can smell them grillin’ already!
I think Solomon Grundy could win, but (despite his name) he is not smart enough to beat Logan. For example, if Grundy got Logan in his grip once, he could dislocate Logan’s knees and elbows and literally rip him limb from limb, without having to break any adamantium laced bones. It‘s his bones that are reinforced, not his cartilage and tendons! Throw them far apart, and it will take Logan a while to grow new arms and legs. And the new ones won’t have the adamantium claws in them! He’d have to SLICE OFF the new ones and STICK the old ones back where they belonged…!
Ooh, and I just had an even more disturbing vision, where Grundy rips Logan’s arms off and then stabs him with his own claws!
But again, I don’t think Grundy is smart enough to figure that out. Wolverine would make short work of him, while managing to keep out of arm’s reach.

Much as I don't like Logan, gotta give it to him, esp. if he's sporting the adamantium.
Bezerker rage, has lived longer than Grundy (experience), military training, regeneration factor (tho I think Grundy has one too).
Grundy's sometimes too stupid or too smart, and there had even been a gentle Grundy in Starman.
Yeah, Wolverine.
