First of all, make sure you practice....everyday. It's best to practice in front of a mirror that way you'll know what you look like. Now stage fright is something most people have when they have to perform. The fear of messing up. A secret I can tell you is that EVERYBODY messes up....but it's just how good you are at covering it up, and continuing with the performance like nothing happened. So this is why you need to be well practiced. You'll be a little nervous......but when you get on that stage.....focus on one point, then do just like you practiced....don't look at anyone in the crowd...just focus on that one point. You'll do fine. If you make a mistake....just continue on, and chances are that no one will even notice it. Ok? I wish you the best of luck......and knock 'em dead. Let me know how you do.

I get stage fright too.Its quite hard to go & sing in front of and audience, trust me I know how it feels. You dont want a swiggly voice while your singing. If you want a great performance then do your fang.Just simply close you eyes sometimes while your singing, like if you might be doing high notes, close your eyes & also you shall sing to some of your family, like your sister,cousin..ect.

you've got plenty of time to get ready. if you haven't already, pick out a song soon. practice it over and over 'til you know you've got it down. as it gets closer to the talent show, practice in front of friends. take a few slow deep breaths before performing, and remember, you're not the only on that will be nervous that day. the more you practice, and sing in front of people, the more comfortable you'll be performing.
good luck!

Hello! my name is Jenelle
I am 19 and i am a chior director.
I have always had this problem for along time.
the way i got over it is to not look at the people.
but to look at the exit sign in the back of the room.
I am doing well with singing in front of people.
if that doesn't help close your eyes and focus.
pray before you get up to sing.
and let god do the rest.
you will do great!
let me know if it works.
your new friend
Jenelle

are you asking how to get over it?
March isn't that close, sweetie. Stage fright is a common problem.
tips:
-practice your song! In front of the mirror, in the shower, ESPECIALLY with your accompaniment.
-believe that you'll do fine (no good without the practiving, though)
-don't get too cocky.

first, i suggest you practice in front of the mirror then in front of your friends. i wouldn't suggest your family because you LIVE with them and they can torture you. anyways just flow with the music and act relaxed practice the song your going to sing when your walking or something. plan everything!! the song, what you are going to wear, how you are going to sing it. just try to make your self more confident by doing it.i bet you are going to be great. don't look at anybodys eyes. maybe your crush and wink to act all flirty maybe but not your friends and family. NOOOO WAAAYYY
