The countries that share the Iberian peninsula are:
Spain,
Portugal,
Andorra, at the northern edge of the peninsula in the Pyrenees between Spain and France

There is also Gibraltar which is a small British territory in the south, that borders Spain

Portugal and France

Look at this map: www.anadigics.com/pics/map-Europe.gif

And then this definition of peninsula: "a piece of land nearly surrounded by water or sticking out into the water "

See how the shape sticking out into the water combines France, Spain, and Portugal?

** To clarify with the answer below: Spain and Portugal and the only two countries entirely on the Peninsula. However, portions of France can be considered to be on it as well.

I'd say Portugal and France, but they left out Andorra, a country in the Pyrenées between France and Spain. This country's only been around since the early '90's.

I personally don't think any of these are correct. I think that Spain and Portugal are the only countries on the Iberian Peninsula, but look for yourself.

(If you have to choose one, I guess go with Portugal and France)

Both Spain and Portugal have been members of the European Union (EU) since 1986. EU membership has led to increased standards of living and economic growth in the Iberian Peninsula, including billions of dollars worth of EU structural funds. Nevertheless, both countries continue to face economic challenges. Spain's unemployment rate remains stubbornly high, while Portugal has repeatedly exceeded the EU's limits on budget deficits.
