150K would make me happy enough to clear up my debts. Money doesn't buy happiness, but, it makes for a nicer place to be. I already have what counts: a loving husband and four beautiful kids. What more could you ask for?

Well first off, money can't buy happiness, nor love. (The Beatles wrote a song called "Can't Buy Me Love", and it's so true).

Secondly, I could get by with about $4 Million and not one of those Megajackpost of $2-300 Million. That's a ridiculous amount of money for someone who'd not accustomed to having an exorbitant amount of cash.

If I were you, I would invest in spelling lessons or learn to click on the Spell Checker at the top of the question submission page.

If I were me, I would:
Pay off my house,
Pay off my mother's house
Buy another house,
Donate about 25% to
http://www.childrenscentralcal.org/home.asp?ID=2

and then invest in:
Water (Bottled, or otherwise),
Trash,
Energy,
and Space travel.

An stock investment of just $2,000 in a company in 1980 would be worth a little over $1.8 Million today. Do you know which company that was?

(A little-known startup company called "Microsoft", who has made more millionaires per employee than any other company in history!)

I would be happy with $1500, and would use it to fly my youngest daughter to England to be with her sister who married an English citizen two years ago, whose husband is now considering divorce. My daughter is alone in a foreign country: No immediate family, no friends. The girls are very close. Their father died almost a year ago, I live on Social Security and substitute teacher pay, my youngest daughter is a teacher and doesn't have any money; so, $1500 would be a godsend to me.
