I love it. One of the scariest movies ever. Single handedly gave me a fear of clowns. I am a 23 year old male and I still get scared going down to my basement to do laundry because I keep imagining that scene where pennywise comes up through the drain while that kid is taking a shower. Creepy.

I liked the movie IT as with most Stephen King movies. Although I do agree the books are always better than the movies. But The Shining with Jack Nicholson is a horror classic.

I usually hate the movies based on Stephen King's books because they are never as terrifying as the books. Salem's Lot had me scared a vampire would come into my bedroom and kill me after I read it, but the movie was schlock! I liked IT a lot because of the casting. I love John Ritter and he was fantastic, as was Annette O'Toole and John-boy Walton (Richard Thomas). Tim Curry was very creepy, which he does so well.

i love this movie...i watched it for the first time about two years ago and i know this is lame but because of that movie i am scared of clowns...there is just something about a clown that kidnaps little kids that seems too real to me...but its because it scared me so much that i love it.

Me. But it has scared my brother to death since we were little. Something about a clown with razor sharp teeth that eats little kids just doesn't make you want to go to the circus very much.

I think it's pretty good. I think my favorite Stephen King movies are "The Stand" and "Salem's Lot" though. :-)

I liked when IT was the clown, but I think they did the spider- creature part not as good.
