So, the British (bless the morons) seem to forget that they are not the only country where English is the predominant language. If you click on ANY flag for a country that speaks mostly English you will get ALL of the questions from English-speaking countries visible on your screen. This is because the default setting is "Alll English questions." If the elitist British would just take a moment to look at the lefthand side of their screen they will see that they can change their preferences to "Only questions from the UK." Then they wouldn't have to deal with Americans as much.

Yes the majority of people here are British and North American. If you click on the American flag you are viewing the American version of the site and are given the option of viewing all English questions or just ones from America. If you click the British flag you can view all English questions or just ones from the UK.

Good question, I can say I think there is a mix of both North Americans and British that look on this site and for our own convinience we click on the reletive flag so the grammar and spelling is more to our liking. Although both North Americans and British speak mostly English, we can differ when it comes to spelling things. For example North Americans would spell the Theater like this whilst British would spell Theatre like this.....if you get what I mean. Also North Americans can be alot more Sterotypical when it comes to making new words. With their youth and culture they are creating new words which are highly influenced on TV and because the British are highly influenced by American TV cos we have alot of it over here, Like Friends, Will and Grace and we even just got that ugly Betty over here th other day we take their Americans words and make them our own. So to sum it all up its basically cos we spell some things differently.

Well its supposed to be British for the British but you are right to be confused because you can see what should be done. Americans(Bless the morons - simple people really) they click the British flag. They remember when we ruled them with a firm hand and a long whip. We've been through this before.
If you click on the US flag you get a different set of people and questions so if Americans like it better here (I know that the level of intelligence is superior), just say so and we will stop going on about it. Whats so difficult about saying, "You guys are smarter so we prefer your site." Simple really.
