don't rule out water pump. I'm not sure why, but they can go bad and water will run right out of there.

Yes, possible cracked block or freeze plug. Are you saying that the car will not start or it leaks even when it's not running. Having trouble understanding. If the car won't start, then I'd say you've got a bad head gasket. Whatever it is, there is a major leak in the cooling system. If the car will start, I would first check the freeze plugs. Find out where the anti-freeze is coming from. Good luck.

i own a repair shop,and the last one i seen do this had a bad freeze plug in it,as fast as i could pour it in it was hitting the pan i had under it,,a head gasket will be a little slower than that,,and you,ll also notice coolant in the oil,,if its coming out this fast,,id look for a cracked head or block,,or freeze plug,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s

It probably is a rotted out soft plug on the engine block.
