Hindu Bollywood fans Please answer honestly: How do you sincerely feel about Shah Rukh Khan being a Muslim?

We all know about the prevalent Hindu prejudice present in Indian Society against Muslims, and Shah Rukh Khan himself admitted in an interview that he was persistently blackmailed and harrassed at the start of his career solely for being Muslim. But now he emerged on top and seems to be very much admired by all sects of Indian society. Is that truly the case?

u r also reflecting the prejudice against Hindus.... majority of Indians love SRK n majority of them are Hindus and youngsters so obviously it makes no difference to them...

i cant recall one instance where he played a Muslim onscreen, he may have, i just cant recall... but when he is rahul, he is rahul or when he is raj, he is raj, similarly with devdas mukherjee.... u dont go like, hey! theres a Muslim standing there, no!

n to be honest there was a time when i was conscious of him being a Muslim.... that was when he played Ashoka the Great, he just didnt look like him at all..... u cant take Tom Alter n make him Maharana Pratap.... like Arjun in Mahabharta was actually a Muslim but u just couldnt tell unless somebody told u n he looked so much of the character but here it just kinda stood out.... Groucho Marx wouldnt make a very likely Achilles, thats all....

he may have had some bad experiences, also because he married a Hindu n i guess her parents didnt like it n all

and u must rem tht there are lots of khans and muslims in the indian film industry and quite admired too

if u r good actor, ur colour, religion, region doesnt matter, of all the superficiality of the world, deep down ppl still value others for what they are...

i like Shah Rukh Khan because of the fact he's stable Artist/ Actor he's having stable potential and documents for making of flicks as opposition of Hollywood action movies such (I- Tobot, Terminator. MIB, Transformer, Predators, vacationer, Salt, Tron Legacy, undertaking impossible, Troy, brave heart, etc). So I grow to be dis appointed.

SRK is a decent human being and a terrific actor. This is a staunch hindi telling you that. I dont admire too many hindi actors but SRK and AB are two I do very much.
By the way SRK if I am not mistaken has a hindu mother.

I don't care about his religion aslong as he remains a decent and humble being and carries on being the baadshah of bollywood i have no problem with what religion he is.
