if you do these things you will not get an infection.
clean you ears with alcohol before having them pierced. go somewhere when they will pierce it not a tattoo place. after piercing then buy the solution, the places like limited too in the mall pierce and sell the solution, put it on 2x a day and turn the earring so that they don't heal to your ear. and make sure your hands were just washed with mild soap. gold earrings are good because other metals could cause allergies. even after like 2 yrs. your ears could show infection signs to trying different types of earring.

When you get your ears pierced, they already have the types of earrings - called studs - that you will need for the first few months your ears are pierced. Any type of stud will work (usually are gold - or may have a color on the tip). So you don't get to choose just any earring for the piercing.

You shouldn't get an infection even with thick lobes, but definitely follow the instructions given to you. It's been so long since I had mine pierced (and I probably didn't follow the instructions either) - but I would guess that it is something like clean your ears daily or even 2x per day with alcohol.

I don't think the thickness of your earlobes will increase your risk of infection. Just ask for piercing posts for sensitive ears, just in case. My earlobes aren't thick, but I'm still prone to infections, so I always buy sensitive ear earrings.

Clean your ears religiously! Put it on your calendar. Tie a ribbon around your wrist. Have your friends and family remind you constantly. Set an alarm. Whatever it takes to remember! You may think "I'm not going to have any trouble remembering. What's she so worried about?"

Trust me. Six weeks is a long time to be patient with your ears. You will forget. But stick it out. Your ears will thank you for it!

And, use the solution the piercer gives you. Don't use rubbing alcohol as a replacement. It's too harsh on the healing tissue, not to mention painful.

just make sure that your ear is clean, and pierce them with a small earring not something big, and don't remove the earring for 2 weeks so the piercing will heal. If you take the earring out, the piercing will bleed and that's how you get an infection

i think i kind of had that on one of my ears. You should get a solution to clean your ears with, and then always turn them a couple times a day.

If youre buying earrings, look for sensitive or ones with longer posts. Those help a lot!

People with any earlobe length can get their ears peirced. Just make sure the END is long so you could see at least about 5 milimeters-2 centimeters and you'll be safe, or else the earring will get lost in your ear.

Do you see the pointy egde? That is what an END is.

Just clean them good, with an alcohol soaked cotton ball, I also suggest going to a professional piercer if its your first time. As for what type of earings any that are not to heavy of tight for your ears.

Don't get them pierced. That eliminates all the problems there, doesn't it? Besides, clip-ons are SO in. Cheers!

Nothing before. They'll give you care instructions for after. Follow them religiously.
