ok. for my parents valentines day gift I need 675$ ( not including tax) by february 10/12 (because i still need time to wrap it.)
How much money do I need to earn a day in order to have 675$+extra for tax by february 10th or 12th?

How much is the tax in your state? Mine is 6% so I'll do that.
.06 (675) = 40.5 tax
675 + 40.5= $715.50
It's the end of January 8, so starting on January 9 - February 11 is 34 days.
715.50 / 34 = about $21.04 a day.

Not including the tax, and I'm going to exclude today, which is January 8.
January 9 - January 31 = 23 days
February 1 - February 12 = 12 days.
That's a total of 35 days. Therefore, you need to earn
$675/35 = approximately $19.29 per day. Note that this is NOT including tax. Let's assume 13% tax (which might be extreme, but at least it will be an upper bound. Then
$675 + tax = 762.75
762.75 / 35 = approximately $21.79 per day.

Could you not figure that? I think unless you are 5 that you should work on your math instead of wasting time on the computer. Hope your parents enjoy their present.
