In Homeopathy IGNATIA AMARA is used for mood swings, try it in 30 potency three times a day half hour before meals. To read more about the remedy please click the link below :- http://homeoint.org/books/boericmm/i/ign.htm
However if the symtoms are not any and still persist after taking three doses either post your complete symptoms or visit a Homeopath for a proper diagnosis. Feel freee to email me if you need any more help.

Well, I almost always have to point out that homeopathy treats the person, not the problem. Your cyclothymia will be particular to you and so will a remedy or series of remedies that will cure it. You need to have a full consultation with a qualified homeopath.
I have never had a case of cyclothymia, however, I have helped successfully with a bipolar patient and several suffering from Obsessive Compulsive disorder.

moderate amounts make you happy
adding it to chocolate deserts or hot cider or nutmeg or just slightly severe amounts in anything boosts natural aphrodisiacs
extremely severe amounts can make you moderately sleepy

I don't know if it will help but I found this ebook on the subject. You have to buy it though to read the whole thing.
