I really like the name Harry for a little boy.. but not fond of Harold at all. I can think of Harrington as alternative. Are there any other possibilities I am missing?

I have a friend who named her son Harrison, and sometimes she calls him Harry. I like Harrison better than Harold. Harold is too outdated and it sounds old.

Harry can be short (or could possibly be a nickname) for:
Harold
Harrington
Harrison
Harris
Heinrich (original source for the name Harry)
Hendrick
Henry
Henderson
Horace
Harvard

That's all I can think of.

Or you could always, just name him Harry. Harry is a popular name all by itself, it doesn't need to be short for anything.

Good Luck!
