I have to find a charity event for this school project and I dont really know any so if you know any please tell me about it and what it does by the way it has to be approipate for school

check with your local Kiwannas or Rotary Clubs'. They will have answers for you withinn your area of the country. I believe also it is the Lions Club that has an charity for collecting peoples glasses that they no longer wear because their vision changed. The club has volunteers who clean the glasses and Drs who test the glasses for the correct prescription... then they volunteer and go to a poor country so they can see a dr. for free and get glasses for free. This is a very good charity function that would help a lot of people. Good luck with this... collecting glasses.... if you choose the glasses idea you could even get your newspaper involved... you could write your own news story and even have it published with their help. I am sure the lions club could get you pictures of what country they go to to help people see. A lot of people have 2 or 3 or more pairs of glasses in their bedroom drawers that they never again will use.
