For my law class, I was going to write a law to make abortion illegal but I realized I’m too young to know what I’m messing with so I need to right a new law.

What would you make illegal or what would you make legal

I would rewrite immigration laws to insure that illegal aliens could not have children in the US that were automatically citizens. "Anchor babies" are a common practice to insure that if the undocumented get caught, then they can demand to stay with their children, who are legal citizens, in the US. Then the US ends up paying for their green cards.

Because of the mass number of useless laws already in existance,
Instead of writing a law, I would revise the legal code to require that all laws be revisited yearly, to determine if the reason for them was still valid, and that the law works the way it is written! Presently in the US there are laws that contradict every law on the books. this would also make lawmakers write laws in simpler language, with much shorter text! Present day laws on the books entail more than 20 million pages, who could possibly know or abide by all of them!

Well, I would make either prostitution or marijuana legal. Not that I partake in either. I just think it is a waste of manpower to enforce. With taxing and regulation, both are no more dangerous that alcohol consumption(which I do partake in).

There are more than enough illegal things, I don't think we need anymore things added. Tough one to call really.
