My Fiance and I have a very active sex life. a few days ago, she started to complain of breast pain. that same day, we made love. afterwards she stood up and dropped to the floor with abdominal pain. I was really scared for her. she is still having breast pain, and shes beeing very moody. she took the ept test toinght and it came out negative. the box siad to take it after your missed period. well, her cycle is always sparatic and she never knows when she will have it. she bled a little last night and had pain in her ovaries. Could the test be wrong? Thanks in advance.

Some breast pain and abdominal pain aren't necessarily signs of pregnancy. I never had either of those symptoms during my pregnancies. Pregnancy tests are very accurate but they are not 100% accurate. Whether or not she's pregnant, she needs to see a doctor immediately to get to the root of the pains.

I honestly wonder instead if it wasn't ovulation. Some women can spot at that time and the breast pain could be attributed to that as well. If she had abdominal pain -some women can feel ovulation.
If the test was neg, wait a few days and try again. When was her last cycle? if it hasn't been at least 26/27 days I would think that she should wait until at least then to test again.

Its possible she is having a misscarrige. When i had one the home tests came back negitive but i went to the doctor and that test showed lower levels of the pregnancy hormone. I also had very bad abdominal pain.I would recomend a blood test just to be sure. It could also be a tubal pregnancy. She should be checked by her obgyn soon. If she is not pregnant it could be female problems like a ruptured cyst, endomitriosus. They can both cause spratic periods too. Good luck

Well yes if you 2 are having unprotected sex, And yes the test can be wrong, you said her periods are irregular so i would ask her to go the doctor to get a blood test done, and if you don't want to be pregnant then use protection and tell ask her to go on birth control.. Good Luck, the pain can also come from ovarian cyst and other things like that do some research to see i that is what her pain is coming from.

It could be wrong. Abdominal pain doesnt sound so much like pregnancy in its early stages though, breast pain does but the rest of it doesnt maek a whole lot of sense as far as her being pregnant would go. Have her go to the doctor or wait a week or so and take another at home test to be safe.

yes, the test could be wrong. They are never 100%. they do detect the amount of hormone in your blood during pregnancy but if you test to soon you will get a false negative. Anytime you have sex protected or not you could be pregnant. Be safer. Use spermicidal lubricant AND a condom so you dont worry so much.

i would wait a few days before taking another test, however, if she has any more pains like that i would call the dr- i don't think she should be in that much pain -i never was and this is my 3rd pregnancy( the only time i felt like that was when i miscarried)
sore breast accompany both a period starting and pregnancy

It could be, tests should really be done with the first urine of the day, so have her retest first thing in the morning- that's whenthe pregnancy hormones are at their highest early in pregnancy.
But, it could just be the symptoms of her period coming, as they are the same- it's just many people don't look for them until they suspect a pregnancy.
Perhaps she should see a doctor?

If she is in serious pain you need to take her to an emergency room. If she can wait until morning you need to make an appointment with her family doctor/obstetrician ASAP. Sounds like it could be serious if it's not a pregnancy.

If she is that uncomfortable or is in pain she needs to see her doctor. It could be all kinds of stuff, infections, STD, who knows. The doctor can check all that and answer the pregnancy question. Good Luck!
