You have nothing to worry about. Getting pregnant when you have your period is very rare. Getting pregnant while you are having your period and using a condom is one for the Guinness Book of World Records! I would not worry if I were you.
Goo luck and take care.

Using a condom can eliminate most chance of pregnancy, even though there still is a chance that something could go wrong... a leak, a tear, maybe your partner didn't wear it right or whatever...

Still, I believe the chance of becoming pregnant while ON your period is slim to none. I personally am going through this with my gynacologist and she assured me that while actual fertility highs vary from woman to woman, your period is the safest time to say you can't get pregnant.

Your body is discharging all of your important fluids and tissues that your baby would need. And it's discharging them because there isn't a baby!

So if I were you, I wouldn't worry.

You need to do some reading - for the most part you are looking at 85-90% if the condom's haven't been tampered with, and are not out of date, and used correctly.

You also will reduce the risk by using spermicidal foam or gel.

You also need to be sure to hold on to the condom when you "pull out" so fluid will not seep out from the sides.

Be sure also to leave enough of a reservoir at the tip to keep the semen at the tip.

With doing everyting right, you still have a small risk factor.

Very slim but it's very possible. As every one knows, the only 100% foolproof birth control is abstinence.
