Back in the day (1994 or somewhere there about?), there was an X-Men comic in which a giant crystal wave was heading for Earth (M'Kraan?). Anywho, the world comes to an end and everything is turned to crystal. Does anyone know which X-Men series this was, and which issue number?

it was called legions quest. which started Age of apocalypes.

Legion tries to kill Magneto in the past, but even with the intervention of four of the X-Men, gets to his target, but kills his father Charles Xavier instead. Meanwhile, the rest of the X-Men and the Shi'ar can only watch as the M'Kraan Crystal destroys the world, remaking it without the presence of Xavier.

1. X-Factor #109 (Legion Quest Begins)

2. Uncanny X-Men #320 (Legion Quest 1)

3. X-Men #40 (Legion Quest 2)

4. Uncanny X-Men #321 (Legion Quest 3)

5. X-Men #41 (Legion Quest 4)

6. Cable #20 (Legion Quest Epilogue)

This lead to the Age of Apocalypse, an alternate reality that was covered by all of the X-Books, for four issues each in addition to Alpha, Prime and Omega, and it also had special books that examined what happened to the rest of the Marvel Universe (e.g., Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, etc.)

it truly is going to be out in about 2 to three weeks (there have been a good number of delays with this identify over the full run) with the merely good tale arc being wrapped up in a "great Sized" challenge (unhappy ending yet no spoiler right here). in case you want to seize up there are a approach of collections of the previous subject matters obtainable to purchase.
