Names for twins?

Question

We don't know the sex yet, but these names should work for either. What do you think?

Lemon Maree or Lemon Marcus
Lime Juniper or Lime James

What the heck?? Are you kidding? These are ridiculous. Some people shouldn't be allowed to name their children. Do me a favor before you name your child any of those names. When someone asks you what your name is tell them its Lime or Lemon. See how they look at you. Don't torture you child with such and awful name. You're child has to use this name forever and apply for jobs with this name.

Now, come on! You just try to think about what it would be like to be named lemon or lime. You know that a lemon is considered a "dud" that should be returned, right? And lime is very green. Hell if you are going to scar those children like that
why don't you just name them Lemon Lime Lastname and Tangerine Orange Lastname.

I'm really rolling my eyes over.

Try something like:
Hanna and Lana
Derek and Eric
Rosalind and Raelynn

Oh wait... how about Pork and Beans.

the list can go on and on.. but do not name your kids after citrus fruit, or else you will have to get your money ready for therapy because they will go through so much grief through life.

Lemon and Lime, really? Are you trying to label your kids already? Let them become freaks on their own, don't push they along the path with those names.

and if you really are insistent on those names, just put them as middle names and names your kids Maree, Juniper, Marcus, and/or James.

Lemon and Lime? No...that reminds me of a story I need to read for Lit class. Some guy was named "Donald Duk". I'm sure you can realize what kind of torture he has to go through...you don't want to pick names that are..."out of the ordinary" eh?

I guess I'll just list them out to give you some ideas? Here we go...

David and Mary
Michael and Matthew
Steven and Spencer
Robert and Bob
Adam and Eve (as someone mentioned before)
Christine and Jessica

I don't know about you, but I'd prefer to have a more common name.

I like the middle names - very nice but Lemon and Lime. You do realise kids get picked on for weird names? If you're really hooked on having those names though, I'd swap them to be the middle names while the current middle names could be first names.

I think they might get teased at school or something. If you want to use fruit, use words for fruit in other languages. It'll mean what you want it to mean without embarrassing your future kids. The names are great and stand alone with no need for lemon and lime. You could always use the citrus as middle names, of course...

Lemon & Lime? It might be cute to fantasize about whimsical names now, but your child is going to have to live with "lemon puss" and every other joke you can think of..... and Lime isn't much better. The names you are choosing will mean that your kids will have to endure mocking and have to work harder to be taken seriously.

Honestly, Lemon and Lime?! If you want your kids to suffer for the rest of their life then go ahead. But if you don't why not Adam and Eve, or Fred and Ginger or actually names. There is a link below for a list of famous pairs.
