Yes it probably should.
I don't smoke marijuana. Actually I don't even drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes, but I can definitely see the stupidity in the way the majority of the "war on drugs" is run.
Most drugs should be illegal, of course, but marijuana is less harmful than alcohol is by any measure and it is absurd for the government to spend millions trying to intercept it, stop it from being grown and throwing people in jail and backing up the court system dealing with people who have no criminal background except for having a baggie of weed in their glovebox.
The entire rest of the civilzed world is realizing it is stupid and pointless to make marijuana illegal and it's been and is being decriminalized everywhere. We may as well here since people smoke it like it's legal anyway, all we are doing is creating a black market for it by making it verboten.

i never smoked it, but i also don't smoke tobacco or get drunk, hardly ever drink any alcohol, and i think all drugs should be legal. there are a million things around your house you can get high on and die from, how about criminalizing every household cleaner and paint can, plant, flower there is then?if the gov. says pot is illegal then they should criminalize everything

even though it goes against my morals... i do believe pot should be legal just because it's not like anyone is actually obeying the law. basically... it'll just put the dealers out and it would be a lot cheaper and (probably) weaker.

Yes it should be legal and we should tax the h**l out of it. Use that money to pay the welfare for the people who are to stoned to get jobs.

if alchol and cigarettes are legal weed should be.it dosnt kill as many people and its the #1 crop in america.i havent smoked since 1985.
