My best friend, who I cherish the most, is having a really rocky time in the love department. She has this really weird thing for one-sided love. I mean, as long as the guy keeps ignoring her, she likes him. Then, should the guy tell her that she likes/loves her, she loses interest in him. What's going on here? Oh, and also, she has this guy from the past (a total bastardo) who hurts her, yet she claims to still love him. Any hints to the weirdness?

She may just want a boyfriend. Sometimes people just get desperet. She may just be getting any boy she can. Also she may get kind of freaked when someone says they love her. I mean, theres some kind of fun secrecy about having a crush on someone but if they turn around and say "I love you" it may take something out of it.
