I keep hearing about it, but I know the movie and play by heart and have never heard it. I'd like to know what it's all about and where it's supposed to be.

It's not "No One Would Listen" because I've seen that deleted part a million times. I found lyrics to "I Can Hear You" on another site, so I know it must exist somewhere.

There is not a song by that name in the play or movie. Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote a new song called, "No One Would Listen" for the movie that was out in 2004. The instrumental version is played numerous times throughout the film and sung over the end credits by Minnie Driver.

yeah... I'm pretty sure I've seen "The Phantom of The Opera" more than any normal person should have to in their lives... I guess I should thank the band bus trips for that. But "I Can Hear You" is not the name of any song n the musical.

"I Can Here You"? Well, coming from someone who has basically memorized the movie, owns the two-disk movie soundtrack and the original cast recording, and has even listened to that gosh-awful tribute CD, I can pretty safely say that the song "I Can Here You" isn't on there, even in the score. Perhaps you are thinking of "No One Would listen" (The deleted scene), or "Learn to Be Lonely" (Sung by Minnie Driver and played during the credits)?

Wasn't there another version of Phantom in the early 90's that toured - can't remember who the lyricist/composer was but it was definitely not ALW.
