Lol ... no, but sometimes they have to spend so much time there that they feel like they do.

Well, I am a first year teacher, and let me tell you...sometimes it feels like I live at school! I get to school two hours before the students arrive, and often leave 3 hours after they do...and sometimes, "school" comes home with me, if the form of papers to grade and lessons to plan. I've thought about putting up a cot in the room...but I don't think they'd allow it!

No, kiddo, we go home just like you do! :-) If we work at a place like a boarding school, then yes, some of the teachers live at the school and so do all the kids.
And just ignore Larry M's rude message. Your spelling needs work, but it'll improve with time. He, on the other hand, will most likely be a jerk for the rest of his life! :-)

Not unless your at boarding school and even then most don't.
So the answer is no, they just have to get there even earlier than you do, so show a little more compassion to them after you think about how much it would suck to have to do that.
