HERE'S ONE ANSWER I FOUND THERE
You may want to try uninstalling the showerhead completely. Once uninstalled you should clean the threads on the shower arm, making sure there is no residue left at all. Once cleaned you'll want to wrap teflon tape around the very same threaded section. If you're not familiar with teflon tape, ask any attendant at your local hardware store and they should be able to point you in the right direction. It is very easy to use and once applied it should be able to minimize if not eliminate your current plumbing problem. (TIP: Make sure you cover all of the threads!) Once you have applied the tape you are now ready to re-tighten your showerhead back in its original position. If you still have a leak, post again and let us know!

I have a leaky faucet in my bathroom too. I do not want to pay for a plumber but cannot figure out how to get the thing unscrewed to replace washer. It is really aggravating! Good Luck with your shower head!

Depending on where it leaks, but first try un-screwing it from the neck, and wrapping teflon tape around the threads and screwing it back on..
