I ask as I've seen the site go from a real good place to just an advert ridden place that seems good until you realise they want your money to enable you to contact other people.

Also - no disrespect to the people I was at school with but as I've gotten older, I've moved on to new people and new relationships and choose to leave the past in the past.

How do you feel about this and are you a member now or, like me, have you also removed yourself as you thought it pointless?

(I also refuse to become a MySpacer or write blog!)

Just read the comments about MySpace - good idea if you can find your old school friends on there but do all your friends know your nickname as "LoveGod" or "FluffyBunny" instead of Julie Smith or Adrian Jones??? ;-))

Thanks to 'whoever' for the thumbs up!

YS.

Don't use friends reunited anymore.... refuse to pay and can practically find all my old school mates on myspace!

Also as I'm from a village we're pretty much still in some sort of contact even tho i now live 100s of miles away... spose its a Cornish thing!

I've just realised how useless this site really is and am about to un-subscribe.
I thought you didn't have to pay but as usual ,you do.It's very mis-leading.

As you say, yes, I too have moved on with my life, but out of interest wondered what some of my schoold friends had done and were doing, but I'm not that interested that I going to part with my hard earned cash.

Best wishes.

I actually put a bogus character onto my year at Friends Reunited. Although the whole thing is fabricated, three people have written to me as they remember me well!

The real "me" has, however, met up with several "girls" who are now middle-aged wives and mothers and our secret assignations were a great deal more fun than "kiss chase"

So ... for that reason alone ... I'll give it a vote

Well I am on friends reunited but I don't pay for anything. I just like looking at everyone's profile to see what they are up to. You don't have to pay the money. As far as myspace goes, it's alot easier to contact old friends, it's free and everyone is on that thing! You can just set your account up, you don't have to fill any info in, you can just send messages to your friends! easy.
