Mine is silver, keep in mind you can buy some great skins for your ipod so you can change it frequently anyways.

Black. If you want to spend a little more money you can buy a custom made eye pod on colorwarepc.com. You can choose custom colors (red, blue, green, pink, purple, etc.) to have your ipod painted. They'll paint the back, fron, wheel, and headphones for you. They'll also paint other accessories to match as well. I rodered a red and white ipod a few months ago and it looks amazing. Everyone is amazed by it and wants to know how to get one.

white is best because you can put any color cover slip you want. or, every day you can write the color you prefer to see your ipod, and after a while, you can see which one you picked the most.

Either white, silver, or blue
Black looks cool but it shows every little scratch it has in it... I know from experience

plain ol' black. Cleaner than white. I have the silver one - shows some scratches, but it's in it's protective case all the time anyway.

i own the 2gig if you just want the color then go for the cheaper price you can buy skins or cases for it instead
