did it really get cancelled because mischa got killed of? i also heard that the CW MIGHT take it well is it really cancelled?

The show's rating's dropped amazingly. When the series started I think I heard it was in the 10 million's range and it kept getting lower and now it's in the 4 million's range and I guess that's just not cutting it. Plus, the show's creater Josh said that he feels this is the perfect place to end it and they got where they wanted to be.

Yes it was cancelled. You can go to the links to sign a petition to try and keep it. The other link is more information on why the oc was cancelled and the possible move to the CW network.

I am not sure, but the series is going to end on February 22, 2007. Possibly due to few viewers
