How can i fix my xbox 360 if it has the ring of death without sending the console to repair at microsoft. if anyone knows please tell me

Since Microsoft extended the warranty on the Xbox 360, you'd be foolish to not let them repair it for you, since you wouldn't be charged.
Call Microsoft's customer support, and see what they tell you.

Well apart from isolating the problem and taking it from there to either a friend or a proper company that fixes these things.
Depends on where your from too, if your from the uk i would buy a new one and take the old one back and get a refund. try Argos if your in the UK

get a refund or tell microsoft about the problem with their system. They will thank you and maybe fix it for free

You should change that piece of crap that you bought for a ps3 and you'll definately notice a great difference.
