JLA- while the original Squadron Supreme's core members like Hyperion, Doctor Spectrum etc are kind of a match for the JLA, they don't have sheer numbers or the heavy-hitting reserves. I mean, the JLA brings in Captain Marvel and Guy Garder (shudder) as RESERVES... And the fact that none of the Marvel universe speedsters are remotely close to the Flash.

The Justice League, of course! They are the originals, and Squadron Supreme (much though I like them) are the imitations. And imitations are never as good as the original.
BTW, the old Squadron Supreme limited series (after the Overmind war) was a much better take on superheroes interfering with the orderly running of government in American politics than the current civil War is.

justice league...
comparing squadron supreme to JLA is like comparing Pepsi to a store brand cola... similar, but the lack of quality in the knock-off cant be ignored...

it would be a darw. cause Squadron Supreme was sorta made to be a Rip off of the JLA. as many marvel creators have stated at times.

JLA. SS is just a crappy knock-off. Heck, I bet Justice League Detroit could even beat SS.

JLA, man. They have Superman and backup teammembers, such as Steel, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and many, many others.
